The Tamdhu 21 Year Old is the crown jewel of the distillery’s core range, representing over two decades of patient maturation. It is aged exclusively in hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks—a combination of first-fill and refill barrels sourced from the bodegas of Jerez, Spain. This Speyside single malt is bottled at 47.5% ABV to preserve its rich texture and is presented in its natural colour without chill-filtration. The result is a sophisticated, deeply sherried expression that balances the sweetness of American oak with the refined spice of European oak.

This 21-year-old malt offers a rich "Christmas cake" profile. The nose is deep with dark chocolate, sultanas, and cinnamon porridge, leading to a thick, mouth-coating palate of plump raisins, candied orange, and honeyed malt. It finishes long and warming, with lingering oak spice and syrupy orchard fruits.
