Crafted by Maison Ferrand master blender Alexandre Gabriel, Plantation XO 20th Anniversary was created to celebrate Alexandre Gabriel's two decades as Master Blender. The expression features a blend of extra-old rums distilled in Barbados, which first mature for 8 to 15 years in bourbon casks under the tropical Caribbean sun. The spirit is then transported to France for a secondary finish of 2 to 10 years in small French oak Ferrand Cognac casks at Château de Bonbonnet. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl decanter presentation with raffia encasing, it delivers a smooth, luxurious texture and an amber mahogany hue.
