Crafted by Maison Ferrand master blender Alexandre Gabriel, Plantation Black Cask Barbados & Cuba 2022 Double Aged is a limited-edition blend created by marrying distinct pot and column still rums from Barbados and Cuba. The rums mature initially in ex-bourbon barrels in their respective tropical Caribbean origins before being transported to France, where they undergo secondary maturation in heavily charred small toasted oak casks in the cellars of Château de Bonbonnet. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl presentation, this double-aged release displays a deep mahogany hue with a rich, smoky balance between smooth tropical fruit and dark oak intensity.
